“I Do” at Cedar Oaks Farm

On a warm and sunny July afternoon, Brianna and Spencer tied the knot at Cedar Oaks Farm, a romantic barn wedding venue nestled in the heart of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. With crystal clear skies and a gentle summer breeze, their day was nothing short of magical—filled with joyful moments, meaningful details, and a celebration their guests won’t soon forget.

As the sun dipped lower, guests moved inside the barn for a reception filled with great food and great energy. Timber Pizza Co. served up a crowd-pleasing menu of wood-fired pizza! A fun, relaxed alternative to traditional catering.

The couple’s first dances were heartfelt and sweet, setting the tone for the night. Later, the dance floor lit up (literally!) with Black Tie Entertainment’s DJ Andrew Nelson spinning crowd favorites while guests waved neon wands and danced the night away. One of the biggest hits? Brianna and Spencer changing into adorable matching “Mr.” and “Mrs.” sweatsets—cute, comfy, and perfect for a party.

The day began in the bridal suite, where laughter and excitement filled the air. Brianna and her bridesmaids got ready in matching silk pajamas, sipping on bubbly and soaking in the morning light. Hair and makeup were provided by Locks and Lashes, who gave the bridal party soft, glowing glam that perfectly complemented the relaxed yet elegant feel of the day.

From the ceremony arch to the reception tables, Brianna and Spencer embraced a soft, romantic palette of greenery with dusty blue accents. The florals were understated yet elegant, letting the natural beauty of the farm shine through. Both the ceremony site and the reception barn was transformed into a warm, inviting space filled with personal touches.

Guests raved over the cake and cupcake spread by Mason’s Homemade Boards & Bakes, lovingly crafted by Cassidy Mason. And while the reception was packed with high-energy fun, the couple also slipped away for sunset portraits with Megan Lindsay Photography’s Megan Franzen, capturing those quiet, golden-hour moments Cedar Oaks is known for.

The ceremony took place at 4 p.m. on the hilltop, where just under 125 guests gathered under bright blue skies and panoramic views of the mountains. With the Blue Ridge Mountains putting on a show in the background, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by soft greenery and delicate touches of blue, creating a serene and timeless atmosphere. It was the kind of day couples dream of—warm, bright, and beautifully still.
